FOREIGN LANGUAGE RADIO BROADCASTS BY SATELLITE
A NEW METHOD OF REACHING THE WORLD
DTM is very pleased to be a part of the programming on both Radio New Hope - Europe and Radio New Hope - Mid-East. Thanks to the footprint of the Satellite known as Hot Bird 6 at 13°, we are able to reach Russian speakers in many countries, including those where we are denied postal access now. Our first Russian program was aired on April 5 and 6, 2008.

The high cost both in finances and danger to missionaries, not to mention the number of "closed" or "creative access" countries, makes satellite radio a great investment as a missionary tool to reach the world. Satellite is the primary source of TV and radio transmission in 90% of European households and is rising in percentage of those utilizing it in all of the Mid-East.

Our original connection with Satellite Broadcasting was through German translation programming on Radio New Hope which was the vision of fellow Texan Remsen Beitel, Jr. and his wife Ellen. Their dream came to fruition first in Germany on a website on the internet, next as a vehicle streaming God's word in German and English 24/7 all over the world, and finally in 2005, as a satellite FM broadcast. Our German broadcast lasted only until the dear woman whose dream it was to translate and record for us was called home to heaven.

Then came the opportunity for Russian, a language which had been in translation for us since the 1990's.

Now our broadcast is spoken by the same physician who has translated all these years. He is a native Uzbek living for many years now in Washington D.C. New lessons are still being translated with the help of his mother.

In 2007, after much prayer and discussion, Radio New Hope merged with Missionswerk Mitternachstruf, a 55 year old mission organization with operations in Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Israel, and South America.

Because RNH and its Swiss counterpart are a Faith Ministry, they, too, rely on free will gifts, and we invite you to support them financially to help keep RNH the on the air. The people being reached by this programming are not accustomed to helping with the expenses for an endeavor such as this, and it will take time for it to become self-supporting. If God leads you to be involved, you may send your tax deductible gift to RNHMI at 8219 South 72nd East Avenue, Tulsa OK 74133. It will be forwarded by Mr.Beitel to Switzerland.

Those around the world who do not require a U. S. tax receipt can access the Visa or Mastercard form on the English or German language website at www.radionewhope.org
