    CELEBRATE

  • What's the best gift you've ever received?
  • Many people consider it to be Jesus' gift of "forever life." Have you opened your own package from Him yet? Read "Sun" to find the details of how to take off the wrapping paper and make it yours.

  • And please join us in honoring retiring Board Member Les Daniel.
  • He has been associated with Russell and the ministry for many years, even before DTM was founded. Early morning Board meetings may be a thing of the past, but his most valuable contribution to the ministry has always been prayer and a deep and extensive knowledge of the Scripture. Those things won't stop!

Our parting words to Les: Well done, thou good and faithful servant!

    -- Reflections --
“It is interesting that Moses said “days.” He didn’t say ‘Teach us to number our years.’ The image of days helps us to understand the brevity of life. We need to be concerned about each day, one day at a time. Jesus told us to let go of worry about tomorrow: ‘Today’s trouble is enough for today’ (Matt. 6:34 NLT) We cannot presume on future days. We must live fully for the Lord the day we have now. [Especially since September 11] All of us have known friends whose loved ones left home in the morning and, due to a heart attack, car wreck, or stroke, never came back. Life is uncertain. Therefore, O Lord, teach us how to make this day count for You.”
