Woe Is Me!
NOTE: Upon retiring from the DTM Board recently, Les Daniel revealed with tongue in cheek how he really felt about meetings filled to overflowing with "tech talk", a language he doesn't care to learn at his age:

This electronic age is controlling my life;
Not only me, but also my wife.
I can't seem to master a simple TV
Or answering machine, or play a CD.

This alphabet soup is driving me mad;
These mixed up letters are sad – so sad.
A message from Pat, so I answer him;
I then go to a meeting at old DTM.

But it's DVD and MP3, OS, and PC.
Can't you see what all this is doing to me?
So I go back home to watch a show
But the DISH network doesn't want to go.

The stereo system has blown a fuse;
The cell phone is even too hard to use.
I know what I'll do – I'll be just fine.
I'll buy a computer and go "on line."
